Fullerton Man Wounded in Gang Shooting

A 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 16 in Fullerton. Police were called to a shooting reported at the victims house. When police arrived, the suspects had already fled the scene with no witnesses around. A neighbor of the victim called the police after hearing men arguing and then shots being fires. Police found the victim with three gun wounds in his abdomen. Police have not been able to identify any of the suspects, but the person who called the police stated that she heard at least three different men arguing. The victim was taken to a hospital immediately. Police believe the injuries are not life-threatening. The preliminary investigation shows that the victim was shot in the area of 800 South Highland Avenue by suspects who fled. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Fullerton detectives immediately.
